Benefits

Do you find yourself standing for long periods? Dynion's manual lock supports effortless and more comfortable standing via an easy-access button.

Thanks to the integrated rotation hydraulics, Dynion provides support when walking down slopes and stairs, helping you feel safe and confident in your surroundings.

Dynion provides stability in case of a stumble. When walking, if the swing phase is interrupted, Dynion will switch back to default stance providing enough resistance to regain your balance.

Want to go cycling? Dynion makes this possible with its handy cycling mode — simply push the button on the side of the knee and you're ready to go on your next adventure.

Dynion is fully waterproof against fresh, chlorinated and salt water. The corrosion-resistant tube adapter has four integrated water drain channels.

Your prosthetist has the ability to adjust the Dynion's stance flexion resistance — the resistance against the bending of the knee — meaning you receive the support you need to walk up and down slopes, stairs and navigate uneven terrain, specific to your needs.
Default Stance
Dynion is the first default stance mechanical knee from Ottobock. Simply put, this means the resistance in the knee will always be 'on' unless it is deactivated (for example, when you hyperextend the knee). This unique design of the Dynion ensures hydraulic yielding support is always there when needed, for example when walking down slopes and stairs.
