Whistleblowing

If you have seen something go wrong, tell us. We protect your identity and we do not allow retaliation.

Effective date: 18 August 2026

1. Purpose

Patient safety and honest practice are our clinic's most basic responsibilities. If you suspect something contrary to those principles, you need to be able to tell us safely.

This page explains how to make such a report, how it will be handled and what we protect you from.

2. What You Can Report

  • Practices or omissions that put patient safety at risk.
  • Faulty, unlicensed or off-label use of medical devices or products.
  • Breaches of personal data and patient confidentiality.
  • Corruption, bribery, conflicts of interest or improper payments.
  • Irregularities in invoicing, social security declarations or product pricing.
  • Discrimination, harassment or bullying in the workplace.
  • Breaches of occupational health and safety rules.
  • Any other conduct contrary to applicable law or our internal policies.

Report it even if you are not sure. Judging whether something is a breach is our job, not yours.

3. Who Can Report

This channel is open to everyone:

  • Our patients and their families.
  • Our employees, interns and former employees.
  • Suppliers, business partners and contractors.
  • Any third party who has become aware of something.

4. How to Report

You can send your report through the channels below. Putting "WHISTLEBLOWING" in the email subject routes it straight to the responsible person.

To let us assess it, describe as concretely as you can what happened, when and where, and who was involved. You may attach documents or images.

5. Confidentiality and Anonymous Reports

If you give your identity, it is shared only with the small number of people conducting the review. It is not disclosed to the people or units you report without your explicit consent.

We also accept anonymous reports. Because we cannot ask follow-up questions, the scope of the review may be narrower; where possible, we suggest leaving a way to contact you.

Your report and the review records are held with restricted access.

6. No Retaliation

Nobody who reports in good faith may be treated badly for doing so.

This covers every adverse consequence, including dismissal, reassignment, loss of pay or promotion, disciplinary action, exclusion and ending a patient relationship.

If you believe you have suffered because of your report, report that too through the same channel; it is handled as a separate matter.

Knowingly false or malicious reports fall outside this protection.

7. How Your Report Is Handled

  • Your report is logged and given a reference number.
  • If you left contact details, we confirm receipt within 7 working days.
  • An initial assessment is made, and the matter is kept confidential from those not involved.
  • If needed, a review is opened and someone unconnected with the matter is appointed to keep it impartial.
  • You are informed of the outcome within three months at the latest, as far as the law permits.
  • Where a breach is confirmed, corrective and, if necessary, disciplinary action follows.

8. Processing of Personal Data

Personal data you provide in a report is processed only to assess and investigate the report and to meet our legal obligations.

Data is retained for the statutory retention periods after the review is complete and deleted at the end of them.

Full details of your rights and the basis for processing are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Your Right to Go to the Authorities

This channel does not replace or limit your right to approach the competent public authorities.

Depending on the subject, you may go directly to the Ministry of Health, the Personal Data Protection Authority, the Social Security Institution, the Public Prosecutor's Office or CİMER.
