Taleo Adapt features an integrated ankle joint, enhancing stability and safety by allowing the foot to navigate various surfaces with ease. Its ability to adjust to different ground conditions and compensate for uneven terrain helps reduce pressure between the residual limb and the socket, providing a more comfortable walking experience.
When walking and standing on slopes, Taleo Adapt enables a more natural gait and increased socket comfort. Walking down slopes also becomes more controlled.

Above-knee amputees can combine Taleo Adapt with the Genium X4 for a premium fully waterproof set-up. The hydraulic foot can also be paired with the C-Leg 4, Kenevo and Dynion. Both above- and below-knee amputees can add the Quickchange adapter for effortless transitions to a sports prosthesis like the Challenger.

The key difference lies in the ankle joint. A conventional carbon prosthetic foot has no moving ankle joint and owes its dynamics to the carbon spring deflecting under load. Taleo Adapt combines this carbon-spring functionality with a hydraulic ankle joint, enhancing mobility, providing extra movement and adapting more effectively to a wide range of surfaces.
Yes — the hydraulic prosthetic foot is waterproof and corrosion-resistant and can be worn in fresh, salt or chlorinated water. The carbon foot also has water-runoff contours on the adapter and openings in the sole of the footshell that let water drain. Always clean the foot as instructed after use in water to maintain its functionality.
Taleo Adapt can be integrated into either a new or an existing prosthesis, provided it has sufficient build height.
Taleo Adapt is primarily a prosthetic foot that supports a wide range of everyday activities. The hydraulic foot is also suitable for occasional light sporting activities such as golf.
